Careful examination of this contemporary apartment complex with its Mediterranean influence reveals that the eye-catching features across its facade have a very practical purpose. Angled vertical windows and tiered balconies are placed to attract sunlight from the North but avoid hotter sun entering from the West. The ‘random’ placement of windows and privacy areas and two toned render and brick add a visual excitement to the rear facade. With a restrictive angled block limiting available space for entertainment the communal area has been moved to the roof.
