Dominant vertical window boxes, multi-coloured brick work and louvred balconies add visual excitement to this facade and create the illusion of adjoining apartment blocks. As well as being a feature of the overall design the rows of windows and balconies are strategically positioned to attract maximum natural light thus meeting design criteria which stipulates that 70 percent of the units be provided with sun in mid winter. Internally, smart use of available floor space enabled the addition of seven units to the original concept.
