The generous and interconnected use of stone throughout this split-level design – from the landscaped entry way to the rough-hewn base to the full front and rear facades – gives the appearance of the home rising up out of the earth. The two are anchored together. Timber highlights and privacy fences add to the natural ambience. The dominant Cubist-inspired rendered facade features an unusual design signature with an obliquely angled frontage. Internally, the full-height ceiling with its novel row of skylights bathes the interior in an abundance of natural light.
