About This Project
The original character of this home is retained despite the dramatic transformation from a passive facade to a modern design which beckons you to enter along the wide tiled and illuminated walkway towards the focal point of the grand entry: a bespoke pivot door featuring copper surrounded by two types of timber. Earthy tones and materials dominate the design – natural sandstone, stained timber and rendered surfaces – and the sandstone and matching timber garage door and fascia above the glass balcony emphasise the vertical lines. Living areas have been opened up to invite more natural light.
